Kolics Ventures is a social enterprise that owns the Koliko Wear brand based in Anaji-Takoradi. It provides customers with quality and affordable ladies and gents wear. We produce shoes for all and deliver on our promise. We use recycled materials for our shoes because we believe in the protection of the environment through our business philosophy. ABOUT OUR PRODUCT Koliko Wear is made up of different types for shoes brands for both men and women. We have formal and casual shoes for both sexes as well. Our shoes are suitable for all occasions. Our shoes are made out recycled materials (waste resources). We also make shoes out of different types of leathers and materials according to customer demand. We use used clothing for making shoes. We also use pieces of leather which would have been throw away for making our shoes as well. We also use the car tire for the sole of the shoes. The most unique thing about our product is the recycle philosophy behind our production. This makes our products unique because it contributes the reduction of waste and thereby protecting the environment....

Mobile Business Clinic (MBC) Africa was set up in 2012 under the name Mobile Business Clinic (MBC) as a collaborative initiative between the Lundin Foundation, Engineers Without Borders (EWB) Canada, and Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) through the West Africa Technical Assistance Facility (WATAF). WATAF was conceived to address the technical and managerial constraints affecting the growth of agricultural SMEs in West Africa. MBC Africa began its first training for SMEs in agribusiness in Accra in 2013 and later expanded to other forms of training within the agricultural sector. This included the Young Fellows Program (YFP) which was established to develop skills in technical assistance delivery among promising African youth....

MDF West Africa Limited (MDF WA) is a management consultancy and training firm with a passion for private sector driven-development, while putting social impact at the forefront of everything we do. Our company is able to offer high quality international and local expertise for the implementation, coordination and management of assignments. MDF manages the Ghana Innovation Hub in the Accra Digital Center and the Circular Economy Hub in Nswawam, Eastern Region. We have offices in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi. As part of our efforts to support the private sector, we have been supporting entrepreneurial ecosystems (entrepreneurs, enterprise support organisations (ESOs) and financial service providers) since 2014. We set-up the Ghana Innovation Hub in 2018 and have been managing its operations and programs since then. We have been supporting, incubating and accelerating innovative and inclusive (green) (youth-led and female-led) businesses in sectors such as agribusiness, renewable energy, health, (agri-) tourism and water. Some of our programs in Ghana include EnterWASH, the #innov8GH incubation program, the Orange Corners Ghana Acceleration Programme and the HortiFresh Female Business Accelerator. We run these programs with a gender- and youth-focus and try to link entrepreneurs to follow-up opportunities such as mentorship and/or funding where possible. We have also supported several Enterprise Support Organisations throughout Africa by providing tools, training methods and Training of Trainers (ToT’s) for their staff. Our staff uses real-life business experience to improve our training and advisory and we our learnings to improve theory and models for the successful implementation of (commercial) projects. We strongly believes in promoting entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial thinking, innovation and collaboration towards sustainable and inclusive development. We do not believe in quick-fit solutions, but always seek to develop capacity and train others to pay it forward. We combine business development support with capacity development, to make sure that other can teach with our materials and that the individuals they train are empowered to implement the companies’ growth strategy....
