CEPD is a national non-partisan, non-religious, non-ethnic, non-profit cross-disability
organization whose main concern is to facilitate the employment for disabled people, by
creating awareness of what they can do, lobbying and advocating for their rights to jobs,
training and coaching disabled people for jobs. Building disabled people capacity for
entrepreneurship and self-employment.

VISION
• CEPD envisioned a job market where PWDs are able to participate fully without any form of
barrier in the work and business environment in Ghana.
MISSION
CEPD exist to facilitate the employment of PWDs by educating employers, the public and
PWDs, as well as offering employment services, training, coaching, advocacy and lobbying for
the necessary legal and policy change.
OBJECTIVES
• I. To advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities as far as employment is concern
• II. To educate, train, and coach PWDs for the job market
• III. To sensitize employers on the capabilities of PWDs and their special needs
• IV. To train and support disabled people on entrepreneurship and how to establish and
sustain their own businesses
• V. To conduct research into disability related issues as a basis for evidence -based
advocacy and policy analysis
• VI. Train and sensitize service providers on disability issues
• VII. To advocate for access to education, transportation and the digital space for all
persons with disabilities.
• VIII. Embark on income generating projects to create employment for persons with
disabilities and to finance some advocacy initiatives
