Brief Description

Strategic Alliance Network (SAN) is a women-founded and women-led organization committed to advancing causes related to sanitation, climate change, as well as empowering women and youth through entrepreneurship and digital skills development. Established in 2021, SAN has actively engaged in various initiatives, including the organization of training sessions for young individuals. Our current flagship program focuses on providing comprehensive training in Amazon AWS Cloud technologies.

At the helm of SAN is Dr. Janet Mensah, the esteemed founder and executive director, supported by Mr. Ibrahim Halidu as the programs manager and Mr. Kwame Gyekye serving as an advisor. Recognizing the critical importance of digital skills in shaping the next generation of leaders, SAN believes that empowering youth in this realm is essential to address the pressing issue of youth unemployment, which has evolved into a national security concern.

Our dynamic team includes Japhet Adanse, a KNUST graduate and skilled data analyst, Patricia Fleku, overseeing our social media efforts, and Akweley Abena Okai leading our dedicated volunteers. We strongly hold the belief that the active involvement of young people, especially females, is pivotal for the success of both nations and organizations alike.

As an organization whose vision and mission align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030, SAN focuses on the following SDGs, recognizing the need to prioritize and make a meaningful impact:

Goal 1: No Poverty
Goal 4: Quality Education
Goal 5: Gender Equality
Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
Goal 13: Climate Action
Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals

In alignment with these goals, SAN takes deliberate actions to drive positive change. Through targeted initiatives, we contribute to climate action, promote decent work and economic growth, champion gender equality, enhance the quality of education, alleviate poverty, and actively engage in partnerships to collectively work towards a sustainable and inclusive future.

Join us on our transformative journey as we focus our efforts on these SDGs, creating positive change, empowering future leaders, and contributing significantly to sanitation, climate change, and a sustainable, inclusive future for all.
