Brief Description

As a Fintech innovator, leverage the annual Fintech Challenge to launch your product across Ecobank’s pan-African markets and help make Africa better.
The Ecobank Fintech Challenge is open to all startups with innovative solutions addressing the needs of the African population and its diaspora. It has been created with two objectives in mind:
Identify and support Fintechs that are ready to scale up with resources, funding, partnerships, etc. in Ecobank’s 33 African markets.
Leverage these pan-African Fintech success stories and the solutions they offer to improve Africa’s financial integration and economic development.

Describe the format of your programme.:

Multinational product rollout: an opportunity to integrate their solutions with Ecobank, opening doors to potential product launches within Ecobank’s expansive 35-country Pan-Africannetwork.
Service provider partnerships: Selected fintechs may become Pan-African service partners within the Bank’s ecosystem.
Access to Ecobank’s Pan-African Banking Sandbox: Fellows will receive exclusive access to Ecobank’s cutting-edge APIs, enabling them to test and develop their products for the Pan-African market.
Priority access to Ecobank’s Venture Capital partners for funding exploration.

Become a finalist; get inducted as an Ecobank Fintech Fellow and stand a chance to explore the following opportunities:
Competition Cash prize – The winner of the Challenge will be awarded a $50,000 no-strings-attached cash prize.
Scale across borders – Opportunity to explore integration with Ecobank and potentially launch products in Ecobank’s over 30 markets across Africa.
Ecobank Affiliate partnerships – Start-ups may be selected by Ecobank as local country-level partner in any of Ecobank’s 35 country ecosystem.
Access to Ecobank’s Pan-African Banking Sandbox – Fellows will be given access to a dedicated team to support Ecobank’s API tests, to enable Ecobank improve their products for the pan-African market.
Access to Partner Network – Founders will be inducted as Ecobank Fintech Fellows, granting them access and relationships to a vast network of Accelerators, potential Investors, as well as mentors.
